Kasey Worst is a writer who, yes, has heard all the jokes one could imagine about her last name. She has held onto an old sweatshirt from high school band proclaiming her status as “Worst Cornet” for nothing but the bit. It’s worth the closet space.
More to the point, Kasey is a writer of science fiction, poetry, satire, and suspense. Her first published poetry collection, Worst Words, Worst Order, is available now on Amazon in paperback and e-book; and Barnes and Noble and other retailers in paperback. She hopes to follow this with a minor avalanche of pages in the coming months and years.
Kasey grew up bouncing between a tree farm in Michigan, and a small rental near a Lake Michigan cliff side. Heavily influenced by her family’s naturalist lifestyle, Kasey is constantly inspired by the beauty of nature, and the possibilities science and nature offer to the future of our planet and beyond. She loves to write character-driven stories, that will keep readers turning pages for hours on end. Hopefully she can share some of those with you all soon.
